Default Went to Local Muffler Shop today....

SO i Went to my local shop that carries Flowmaster and they gave me some options.....

They will do a Flowmaster Super 40, Vortec Muffler Setup, STRAIGHT PIPE, or a DynaMax GlassPack......

The other option I have is to buy a pre-made kit and do it myself which I have no problem doing.....

What im afraid of is going with something that will have that "coffee can" sound

What have people experienced....You tube doesn't do any sound justice and i have never heard an exhaust in person so i cant have an opinion......

DONT FORGET TO VOTE IN THE POLE

I did the Banks Monster exhaust system for my JK, its goes from under the drivers feet to the rear

I like it, sounds great, small soo you don't see a barrel hanging from the back like the stock JK muffler.

More power? Don't know, I did the XDI CAI at the same time so?

I think my total cost was $350

If I had to do it again I think I would have paid a local shop because $350 is a lot for something that probably does really nothing other than the sound change

Always loved the sound of a Magnaflow. Ive heard vehicles with a flowmaster that have had a resonance in the cab thats been annoying.

I am a fan of the cooltech kit, it only took like 2 hours to relocate the muffler. they use a magnaflow with an extra heat shield on top.
