Are there part #'s on the coils or what color are they? TeraFlex never made 3.5" coils, we do have 3" and 2.5".

These threads scare me. I have a TF 2.5 coil on its way but didn't get any other parts. Guess I'll drive it with the basics and add as I feel the issues. Looks like a few hundred more before I'm up to par.

If you got a 2.5" teraflex lift kit with shocks or adapters you won't need anything else.

2011 so I'll be set. First major mod just being overly cautious I guess. Thanks for calming the nerves.

Except for the front control arms. If you use the caster adjustment bolts that come with the kit, you probably won't be happy with the performance. And you will be screwed trying to go back to control arms.

What caster adjustment bolts are you talking about? Is this part of the Northridge grade 8 bolt kit? With a 2.5" teraflex kit you really shouldn't need control arms either. I have a 2.5" teraflex with 1" coil spacers front and rear. All stock control arms, no flighty steering. No problems whatsoever.

The cheaper kits come with "Cam Bolts" for caster adjustment. They give you a small amount of adjustment for small lifts. A lot of people complain about these bolts because you have to drill out the mounting hole to install them. They are hard to use and get adjusted properly. The have a tendency to loosen up on you. And, if you should ever decide to go back to control arms, you have the enlarged hole to deal with. Save your money and buy control arms.
