I just got the Teraflex Elka shocks, on the road ride like a dream, and preform better off road as well. They are a little pricey but worth it.

I have ran long travel Old Man Emu shocks on my LJ and now on my Jk. My LJ had heavy Shrockworks bumpers front and rear, rock sliders, a warn winch and jeep medic skids underneath. The OME shocks performed great both on and off road. My 4 door JK has no armor and the OME shocks ride great on road. No off road time on them yet.

Yes I tried them. I had a 2007 FJ before my Rubi, with a 3 inch Rough Country Lift. I really liked them. I drove 4.5 hours to work in West Virginia every week. They handled very well around turns, and also performed very well Off road!!

Yea, I heard nothing but good for ome. I just need something strong enough to support the front stinger with a 12,000 LBS warn winch without creating any sag
