The main thing to look at is backspacing. You need 3.5" or so of backspacing. Some have gotten 15" wheels with 4.00" backspacing to fit, but in my experience, they are just lucky. I ordered some US Wheel Black Crawlers (basically the same wheel as a Cragar Soft 8), and they are 4.00" BS. All fit fine except the front driver's side, and it rubbed so badly that the wheel actually locked up when I first tried to back it out of the garage. That makes me believe that the caliper clearance just had to meet a certain threshold for QC at the Chrysler plant, so that they would fit the stock wheels, and not much attention was paid to making them completely uniform in how much they stick out in relation to the hub. I don't know that for fact, it's just my speculation, but that's what it looks like to me. Either that, or the tolerances on that measurement are somewhat "loose". In other words, they will not all necessarily be the same, and if you are cutting it close on the clearance between wheel and caliper, you may notice it in a big way (like I did). In other words, the closer you go to 4.00" BS, the more you are rolling the dice as to whether they will fit without grinding. There is probably less than 1/16" clearance on my other wheels, FWIW.

I ground the caliper down a little on the one that rubbed, and then it fit fine, no big deal, but if you don't want to have to mess with that, then I would stay less than 4.00" backspacing. 3.5" would be preferable.

Jason

I'm looking at going with some 15's for cheaper wheel and tire cost. Figured what I save on wheels and tires will pay for my lift. I'm finding a lot of 15's with 3.75 backing spacing. Will these work? Also, what offset do you guys recommend?

The MB72s have 3.75 bs, and I have them..they work great, no rubbing.
