Default What bumpers will fit the Warn 8274?

I have come across a used 8274 that I want to mount on my JK. I know Warn make a mounting plate for their bumper that fits the 8274 but it is over $300 on top of the price of the bumper. Are there any other bumpers that will fit this winch?

I can't imagine that the 8274 is much bigger thanthe new Warn Powerplant. Most bumpers have been able to support those however not all are able to recess it between the frame rails. Probably a quick call to the bumper manufacturer will clear this one up...

I have an 8274 mount for an 8274, but it won't mount to a JK.

The problem isn't the size. It's the way that the 8274 mounts. Most winches mount from the bottom. The 8274 mounts from the front. Actually you use 2 mounting bolts to secure the fairlead to the winch.

In this picture you can see the top 2 mounting holes. The other 2 are behind the fairlead.

Do you have a picture? I might be able to fab something up to mount to another bumper.

Yup, it'll only fit a TJ. The new JK bumpers don't have the same mounting system.
