Default What causes the front tires to cup?

I have a 07 JKU, 100,000 miles, 2.5" TF BB, TF adj TB, 17" GY ATS tires, auto, RR XD front bumper w/Smittybilt 10K lbs winch, I have 40 lbs of pressure in the tires (can go up to 44), rest is stock.

What would cause the front tires to cup on the inside of each tire?

Thank you for your comments.

bad alignment after mods, bigger tires or bumpers adding weight, lack of rotation, could be a number of things. Start with rotating more often, or have someone look at the alignment so you don't ruin an expensive set of tires due to not getting an $80 (or however much it is) alignment.

The alignment is easy to do at home and only takes a little time.

But, I think it is the tire pressure... that may be way too high! What size tires do you have? Mine are 35", and I run mine around 28psi.

Could also be bad shocks. Do your shocks have 100,000 on them?

Alignment issues, incorrect tire pressure, rotation (or lack of), worn (or crappy) shocks, worn ball joints, bent wheel....

I just read the above. I guess I should be happy getting 100K out of the ball joints. So, I will take care of that. What are the best to get, heard Moog are good. I plan on taking off the 2.5" BB and go with a 3" coil in the future. The thread also mentioned TRE (tie rod ends), who makes some heavy duty ones?

Ties were put on a month ago and aligned. The lift came with shocks, been on only 4 months.

The first and easiest thing I'd check is the tire pressure. You said you're running 40 psi in them? Is that after a chalk test? Just seems high to me.

Wow! 40psi? Do a chalk test....take it down a notch. like 10 or 12 notches.
