Default What discos are you running?

I have decided to make my first mod a set of discos. I feel I'd get the most bang for the least amount of cash.

What brand of quick disconnects for your front swaybar do you recommend? Also, any rubbing issues? I'm currently a stock X with the Rubicon wheel package.

Not really a simple answer, just because the disco you get will depend alot on if you plan on adding a lift or not. I like my JKS adjustable discos, but you need a 2.5 inch lift minimum to run em. Although I think they come in a 0-2 inch variant as well. But if you plan on adding a lift more than 2 inchs later, you'd be out of luck.

I don't know how many fully variable ones there are, although I think teraflex makes a 0-3 inch. You gotta figure out what, if any lift you'll add down the line before you decide. but JKS quicker disconnects, I have em, like em. Only downside is you have to keep the hardware in the jeep when you take them out, which means if its a wild ride you might lose a piece. Can just toss everything in the console so its not that big a deal, but just food for thought.

I personally like Terraflex's quick disconnects. Plus this is what I run, but have helped others with their brands (other than TF) and they just seemed akward at best. Plus TF stores up near the grill up and out of the way...its nice so you dont have to put dirty discos in your jeep.

I've read there can be some rubbing issues with the TF's at the stow mount. I have no spacers yet....

Lots on here run the JKS. I do and they get the job done with no issue. Throw em in a plastic grocery bag, toss in the back and go.

Teraflexes are good just the same, Rock Krawlers as well.

I used the TF for 3 1/2 yrs and had no rubbing issues. On the new Jk I have JKS and think the build quality is better, but I don like storing them and I don't like tyeing up the track bar. If I had it to do over I would go back to the TF.
