HEY GUYS, I need help to regear my auto tranny 2010 jku sahara with 3.37 and dana 30 front dana 44 rear. I already brought teraflex 2.5" spring and coil lift, and XD monster wheel and 35" trail grappler tire. My question is what kind of supplies do I need and what ratio gear do i need? Is there anybody wouldn't mind lists all the stuffs that I need to buy? Thank much!

 

Just bought complete gearset from Dave at Northridge and gave me a great deal!!
I went with 5.38's
with your setup 5.13's

 

Talk to your local shops for prices and parts. Many installers will prefer that you buy through them for warranty purposes. (you are having a shop do the gears, right???) If you want to buy yourself, try 4wd and northridge. You can send both a message on this site for pricing/questions/advice.

For the ratio, do some research!! But my opinion is 5.13's at a minimum.

I have a 2010 Sahara unlimited and just put an order in for my re-gearing my 4dr to 5.13, going to do it myself............. wish me luck.

Is overhaul kit and install kit same stuff?

 

an instal kit comes with shims,pattern paint, seals, and crush sleeve. an overhaul kit comes with that plus bearings. for the most part some instal kits come with pinion bearing but if your jk has low miles all you need is an install kit got mine from dave at northridge couldnt beat the price. 30 front 44 rear 5.13s with install kits $450.00 to my door.
