Default What Do I Need To Modify?

I get a front end hop with my dana 30 axle in about 8" of snow going uphill. How do I stop this?
Thanks
Bill

Didn't you ask the same exact question in a thread started 10 minutes ago?

I guess I'd say you'd need to modify your patience

Good answer. If one thread gets you some feedback, two will get you twice as much. I say go for five!!

OK Here's what I've found out: Axle wrap versus wheel hop. When driving on fresh snow, the condition might exist where the front tires are getting more traction than the rears. Front tires are on fresh snow and the rears are on compacted snow from the front tires. Traction then slip, traction then slip. Use less power to reduce this condition. 4lo versus 4hi spinning the tires slower can also reduce this condition. Any more thoughts on the subject?

Yup, or let somebody else lead so all tires are on compacted snow!
