If you don't have at least a Dana 44 in the front don't even try it. I would personaly want front and rear Dana 60 axles. You need to sleeve and gusset your axles. You will have to have a lift to accommodate, regear to at least 5.13. Probably a 20 inch rim. New heavy duty ball joints and steering components. To do it safely were ur not breaking something every two seconds. Prob a lot more I'm missing but I'm sure someone will give u the full exact set up u need

Just run it, see what breaks and replace. You probably won't have any problems until you try to wheel it hard. IMHO I don't think you need as much As would be let on, I've have plenty of 4x4s all over 40" tires, the jeep being the smallest and have ran everything from 30s to 60 axles and only have problems ever in the mud on 44s and a Dana 44 front locked under the power of a 383 stroker. Good luck and as I said be prepared to break some thing and run it and repair it.

Prob wouldn't go that route. You can have some major failures that cost a lot to fix if your not set up for it. Not to mention leaving u stranded on a trail. What if he is running 3.21 gears I'm sure he would like topping out at 40mph and it taking him a year to make it there. We need more info on ur current set up like what axles u have and current gears ur running

Don't let people scare you with extreme situations. Take it easy and monitor your jeep and it will be fine.
