Default What to do now!!??

I recently put a 4" lift and 35" tires on my 2010 JK. I have heard that now I need to do all kinds of other mechanical advances. The ride is to be expected. However, I have noticed that it is a struggle on the interstate. Please let me know what I need to do next and about how much. Thanks

You need to regear your axles with something deeper. I don't know what gears you have but i'm guessing you'd want at least some 4.56's most likely 4.88's. I ran 5.13s in my 04 Rubi wth 5 speed and 35's. I paid about 1100 dollars to regear both axles in my 04....Jk cant be much different, but it depends on your location.

If your JK is a 2 door, with 4" of lift you'll want to replace driveshafts, the angle increase may rub on the exhaust and/or destroy the rear joint.

There's no time limit, it's just a matter of how long you can live with that sluggish feeling. What kit did you go with, how complete is it, do you have new control arms?

Not sure if you have a 2dr or a 4dr but I see you have a Sport with an Auto Tranny. To address the sluggish performance on the highway you would need to regear to 4.88 or 5.13 which typically can cost from $1000-$1500. A little more if you don't have the 3.73 gears already due to the fact you would need the carrier. Now since you went with 35's and have the D30 up front I would look at sleeve/gusset kit to prevent your knuckles and axle tubes from bending. If you have a 2rd I would also look at a new front driveshaft due to the angle that comes with the 4" lift. If you have a 4dr you can get away with it for a while until you flex out and tear the boot. As for road manners the Zone 4" kit gives you the basics but if you want to improve the ride quality you could look at upgrades such as adjustable control arms, drag link flip kit, ect. Hope this helps!
