Default What does this flash do

Will having the flash done for the bigger wheels only affect the speedometer or will it also affect the gear shifting or anything else (tranny).

Correcting the tire size will correct the speed readout of the Jeep. I think most new trans are computer controlled, so it shifts at manufacturer preset RPM's, speeds, load, and so on which the tire size, or a gear change will affect without correcting it in the tune. Some computers are adaptive to your driving habits now also. So my answer would be yes, it will help the trans shift at the correct times, etc. I am sure someone will correct me if the JK is not like this at all...

Thanks JKJoe I wonder if most people have it done and if you are right all these 35 inch modifications would be detrimental to the Jeeps on road performance. What do people think ....
