Default What to expect?

I just had gears replaced with 5.13's and a Trutrac added to the front D30 a week ago today, by 4wparts store. Sunday, i had to hose down the whole lower half of the front D30 due to pinion seal leak and passenger side rear axle by brake from either oil still in tube or leak?

I am taking it wheeling to URE this Saturday and then drop off with 4wparts to see what there solution is and 500 mile gear inspection. What should my expectations be. Do they have to pull pinion to replace seal, just drop drive shaft and replace, put silicone around it? Should I expect them to pull rear carrier and replace rear seal if indeed leaking(going to keep cleaning with break cleaner to see if stops).

Should, I expect them to take apart to replace the leaking seals. I did pay them $2,150 for it, plus $150 extended 3 yr. warranty.

Wow, that is pricey. Yeah, should be their problem, not yours. Way too early to be having issues like that. Sounds like either a bad part or install issue.

It sounds like a bad install, and yes, they should be fixing it under warranty.

Oh man, good luck with that. They should fix this issue free of charge since it sounds like the tech did a bad install. You also should have this fixed BEFORE you take your baby wheeling. Would hate to hear that you burnt up your gears due to low oil because of this issue.

Definitely skip the wheeling trip and get this fixed. They might try to blame the problems on you wheeling before the break in period is done.

Not only should you not wheel your vehicle due to preventing damage but you shouldn't take a leaking vehicle to a national forest.
