Well I'm wondering the same question once I put my 35s on next week. Seeing that I have the stock gearing of 4.10s for now. I'm looking at getting a SuperChip Flashpaq and hoping that will help out alittle until I get my gears and everything installed.

I ran 16-19 MPG stock. Now getting ~13.5 MPG. Part of that is the lift, after market front bumper w/winch, etc.

It's not that bad for awhile running 4.10's with auto and superchips. Just run with OD off. You will want re-gear eventually, but it's definitly tolerable in the mean time.

Yeah I noticed a drop of a couple of MPGs once I started modding as well. Once I put the lift kit, bumper, winch and fender flares on I lost a couple of MPGs. Right now I get about 14-16 MPGs verses 17-19 MPGs before the mods. Oh well, such is the price of fame and glory....hehe.

I've got ton of heavy shit (bumpers /armor), regeared to 5.13's and I avg 14-16mpg. that's the best you're going to get. there is no way on earth even with regearing and a manual unless you're coasting in neutral going downhill that you're going to see over 20mpg consistently.

first of all, never said i got 21.5 overall average, I said the BEST tank i've gotten with the 35's was 21.5, that was all highway, and it was the stretch from Farmington NM to Tucumcari NM, total 376 miles on 18 gallons of gas. (calculated that way it is around 20.88 mpg, the avg on the on board computer is what said 21.5 when i reached Tucumcari) was just saying that to give an example of the best hwy mileage ive gotten, my overall average is around 15 mpg if i never reset the computer. The tires are 35" bfg km2s. not trying to BS anyone.

Me too..all of the above.

Need to consider the effect on the ball joints. They're weak sisters to begin with and heavier tires take them to an earlier death.
