Default What first???

Have a Jk 4 door I want a 2.5" lift (looking at rough country coil with 2.2 shocks) also want bigger than my stock tires. I want 33's.

My question for those who have more jeep knowledge than I, do I buy tires first or the lift first.?

Funds are limited and stock tires still have good tread.

Thanks.

I bought my 33's first because I knew they would fit on my stock jk plus I don't care for the lifted look with too small of tires

Bought my lift first and ran it for about 6-8 weeks before I got tires.

I would go that way. You might have rubbing issues without the lift. Are you planning on running aftermarket wheels or stock?

I did the Lift first.
Kept the Stock wheels for now. I figure
articulation is better, until I fill the space with rubber.

Put on 35's, cut your flares, get front swaybar disco's, add a little rear bump stop (or a body lift).

If you decide to go 33s I would just get a leveling kit... If you want a 2.5 lift I would at getting 35s
