Default What gears do I need?

I have a 07 6 speed two door Sahara and I am putting a 2.5" BB lift with 33x12.5x15 tires and rims on. I do not know what my factory gears are but calling the dealer tomorrow to find out. What gears do you all think I should be running with this setup? I have the factory 18" rims now with 255/75/18 tires and get 21mpg on the hwy.

Run your vin with the dealer if you have 4:10 leave it... If you have 3:73 and don't mind it... Leave it. If your have the 3:21 you'll want to regear. 4:88 is fine with 35s on a 6-speed I'm not sure about an auto....

Update I called the dealer today and just my luck I have the 3.21 gears. I am upgrading to 33's but the tires I have stock measure 32.4 my new tires will just be a little wider. Do you all think it will change my power or MPG's much.

If u can find them, put some 4.56 gears in. They would be perfect for 33s and acceptable for 35s.

I ran that setup for a while and no issues at all.

You will be perfectly fine with your factory gears. You won't even notice the difference because 33's actually measure less than 33" tall and tire width does not change the amount of torque you need to push your JK down the road. You shouldn't even notice a significant change in MPGs either

I dont think he has to regear but IMO 3.21s even with 32s suck. I had rubi tires and it was ok, went to 34s and it has become a dog. I dont think he would regreat regearing but it isnt a requirement with 33s and 3.21s. Heck u can even get by with 35s and 3.21s but performance would be not good. If u got the money, go for the regear, if not, dont worry about it.
