Default What to get?

Picking up my 2014 willys unlimited in the next week and trying to decide 2.5 or 3.5 lift and aev or rough country? Would love to see some good pics of your guy's setups. I'm going to keep the stock wheels on and either go 2.5 with stock tires, or 3.5 with 33's.

Thanks for any help.

Start by opening the two threads stuck to the top of this modified area. Then go down to JK Show & Tell, where you will find plenty of long, long threads devoted to showing pics of various lift height and tire size combos.

Between your options, I would personally suggest that you choose a 2.5" lift and 33" tires. If budget is a concern, any of the BB lifts (coil spacers) will work fine, or look at a basic coil kit and add components later as needed. If you keep the stock rims, you may want to add wheel spacers when going to taller/wider tires. After reading through the stickies you should have a much better grasp of what you might want to look for.

4.5" AEV lift - you wont regret it, and you wont waste money.

If in Sydney, go and visit Mitchell Bros in Brookvale.

It says he's in Michigan not Australia....

Also absolutely no need for 4.5" of lift if he plans to run 33's

I'd go AEV way before I would ever put a rough country lift on my jeep.

2" - 3" is about all the lift you would need.

I have a 3.5" lift on 37's and it'd easily fit 40's.

I have the 2.5 " AEV and 35" Nittos - no issues and it's been a great setup for me!

As others have said AEV way before Rough Country

I'm running the AEV 3.5 with 35s. I'd go 35s on an Unlimited 33s I think look small. I actually think 35s, 3 inches of lift on an Unlimited look stock
