WHat the hell do you all do
Nope, you'll still feel like you're barely making it. Doesn't help that the government takes a metric crap ton more as you scale up. Then there's Obamacare, capital gains tax rates, the threat of carried interest being taxed as regular income. $350+ is when it gets much better. You can spend what you want and still have far more to save and invest. Guilt free spending

I get all that. Just received a fine bump on our quarterly bonuses. Typically 5 figures and often about half is gone to taxes. I know I pay the equivalent in a nice salary in taxes alone every year out of my regular pay. Hey, at least I hit the sis cap a few years back. That's a plus, sort of.....
I'm 28, married with a 4 year old and 2 step kids over 19 still living at home. I work for a major Auto and tire repair shop as a flat-rate B tech, soon to be A tech will all 8 ASE's.
Married no kids. I work as a goldsmith/jeweler. I make really good money. My wife makes decent money. Only real debt is the house.
Had a fully built tj. Sold it moved to Florida and bought the house. Bought a 2011 jku a month later. Most money last few years has went to the house and doing projects. Couple expensive vacations in there. Now it's time to start doing things to the jeep. It won't be an overnight thing but shouldn't take too long either once I make up my mind on my parts list and what route I wanna go.
