I get all that. Just received a fine bump on our quarterly bonuses. Typically 5 figures and often about half is gone to taxes. I know I pay the equivalent in a nice salary in taxes alone every year out of my regular pay. Hey, at least I hit the ssi cap a few years back. That's a plus, sort of.....

Haha, sometimes milestones are bitter-sweet. You know what you want, what it takes to get there, and are motivated to bust your ass getting there. It will happen.

23, union journeyman scaffold builder.. usually work 3-4 months straight with 80+ hr weeks and then take a month or two off. its not consistent but it works for now. bought my 08 x about 2.5 years ago. just need to upgrade the axles and tires then i'll be done with mods for a while.

I'm 28, married with a 4 year old and 2 step kids over 19 still living at home. I work for a major Auto and tire repair shop as a flat-rate B tech, soon to be A tech will all 8 ASE's.

Had a fully built tj. Sold it moved to Florida and bought the house. Bought a 2011 jku a month later. Most money last few years has went to the house and doing projects. Couple expensive vacations in there. Now it's time to start doing things to the jeep. It won't be an overnight thing but shouldn't take too long either once I make up my mind on my parts list and what route I wanna go.
