Env. Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator at a university. I've been here for about 3 weeks now. Previously worked as a project manager handling hazmat spills. Glad to be back on a regular schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays off and actually glad to be back working for a govt. institution. Salary isn't spectacular, but the benefits are great! Besides....my wife makes all the money in our house as a corporate controller. Her actual title is now Director of Finance & Administration. We do alright together.

I punch Pilots out.

Seriously though, I work on a rocket chair that will one day save someone's life, an air conditioning system that turns 700 degree air into cold air, and I service Liquid Oxygen (which is fun to play with, although slightly dangerous). All of this is on jets that were built 25 years ago, and most of them have smashed into a carrier deck countless times because we get all the hand me downs from the Navy.
