Default What if TPMS doesn't automatically reset?

I just got a set of 35" BFG KM2s from a guy getting rid of his rig. He had a 2010 Unlimited and I have a 2012 Sport. I gave him my TPMS from my stock wheels and he left his in the Procomp wheels that already had the KM2s mounted. The problem is my light won't go out. Is there a way to manually reset? I checked the tires and they're all at 34 psi.

Once the vehicle has remained stationary for more than 20 minutes, drive vehicle for a minimum of 10 minutes while maintaining a continuous speed above 15 mph (24 km/h). During this time, the system will learn the new sensor ID This is part of the TPM Diagnostic Verification Test.

It is also possible that the different years use a different frequency.

You could be running at a lower pressure than the factory specs and need a Procal to correct the TPMS ranges.

The sensors he gave you could be bad, lots of variables.

I used the ProCal to disable the system entirely.... I mean, turn the light off

Mine would not turn off until 36 psi on he 09 . I've disabled it with superchips . I would think they r set high for your tires even if they worked .i would not run a 35 that hard .

The sensors from the 2010 are different from the 2012. I had the same problem. A procal should fix the problem

Yes, I had this issue when I put 2011 take-offs on my 2010. Ended up turning the system off with the Procal. AFAIK, the only way to "properly" fix the problem is getting appropriate sensors for your model year.
