Default What kind of nuts (lug that is)

Hey, Just bought new wheels & tires Sat. Black rock Viper 900, black and Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/70 17, any way it looks like the factory lugs might/should work but the 3/4" socket is a tight fit in the lug nut hole in the rim. Figure I could go with 13/16" size lug nuts or spline/tuner type. Any suggestion on what would work the best. Thanks much

Tight is OK as long as you can get a socket on it. Make sure you start carrying a wrench of some sort that will be able to get a lug off if you get a flat. The wrench that comes with the jeep is big and most likely will not be able to get in to the lug.

When I got my Soft 8's, I got Gorilla spline drive nuts and I love them. They come with a long 19mm socket (black oxidized for use with an impact). It's about 3'' long and allows my stock lug wrench to reach the lug nuts. I much prefer spline drive nuts to standard nuts as a normal wrench won't work with them. They are like a pseudo lock nut.
