Default What kind of tires and wheels?

So here's the deal... I'm wanting to get new wheels and tires, I currently have stock 17 in. wheels and 255/75 stock Goodyear Wranglers... My main problem is decidng on what kind of tires to get. I do a lot of highway driving, but i still want some tires that I can go off roading with....
For wheels I've narrowed down between Cragar- Soft 8

I'm most likely going to get the Cragars because they are a lot cheaper, and I'm just a poor college student right now, but im still completely lost on tires, anyone have any helpful ideas?

I'd look into the standard M/T range of tires. Some examples are the Bfgoodrich M/T the Procomp Xtreme M/T and the Super Swamper Truxus M/T. Those will all behave pretty well on the road and offer you some great offroad traction. Can't beat those Cragar 8s. Good luck!

I ordered the procomp Series 97 rock crawlers and procomp extreme all-terrains last night.

Hopefully I will be pleased with my selection.

rim size was 16x8 with 4.5 backspacing and tires were 285/75/16.

I will post pics when everything arrives.
