Default What lift do you recommend?

Alright here's the situation. I've already got a lift on my 07 jk and I'm not sure what's on it. I'm gonna call the dealer tomorrow and find out exactly what's on it. So I'm not sure how much of a lift I have now. I've got 35" nittos and plenty of room. I'd like to invest into a better suspension. Just curious to what your opinions are. Pics would be awesome btw! Here's my jk on 35s

First off, rig looks good! Second, ur dealer probably won't know. I bought mine already lifted and they had told me it was a 2.5 rough country when i actually had a 4" skyjacker. Said it has 15"rims when it had 17s.
Look at it coils. They may have it with right on them like mine do.Click image for larger version

ID:	499470 U could do what I'm gonna do. I'm switching my skyjacker coils to evo plush ride coils for a nice ride and adding teraflex long arms

Thank you I appreciate it. I'll take a look after work. How much is the Tera flex long arm? How do you like that skyjacker lift?

By the pics it seems you got 3" lift, maybe more, which is plenty for the 2-dr.

You say "I'd like to invest into a better suspension".
Why? Is it too hard, or what?

It's not too hard or anything. I mean it's a jeep not a BMW. It still has stock shocks and I think the coils are stock too. I could be wrong about the coils

I asked in order to understand what exactly you're looking for.
If nothing's wrong, why change.

I have Full Traction lift and Fox coils. Very good, but if I did it today, I'd go for the Metal Cloak, for the bit of extra articulation. Comments about it are all good.

Yeah I was looking into those lifts. I just want a little more articulation. I also want the suspension to stand out a little more. It's all black and boring haha

Lift is not giving you articulation, you may just need longer travel shocks. They make a thing called paint if you want some color on your components.
Understanding what each component does may help you as well in your choice. This thread might help you with understanding what a lift does.

Offroad capabilities and ride quality come from the shock/coil combination (among other things).
Travel is just part of the overall offroad performance, and the specific shock/coil combination influences this performance more than the travel does.
Metal Cloak's 4" lift & their own coils, have a bit more articulation than my 4" Full Traction & Fox shocks have, while, and this, I think, is even more important -- from the videos I've watched, the MC also gives somewhat smoother ride in trail sprints.

BTW, my JKU, with 4" lift, short arms and 35"s, doesn't behave any worse than when it was stock, it behaves better, on & off road.
