My Setup: 2009 Unlimited Rubicon, Full Traction 3 inch lift. Adjustable front trackbar, Currie lower front CA's, wheel spacers w/stock wheels/tires. Bilstein SS with relo bracket. Caster is 5 degrees and toe-in is within factory specs.

Rig drives good. A little wander here and there and some bump-steer. I think I might have oversteer at times but not sure on this one. So my installer said he thought my pinion angle up front was way off. I'm not experienced enough to tell how bad. I'm assuming that my rear pinion angle is off as well? Since I'm rarely in 4WD right now as I'm getting ready to get married, should I focus on the rear pinion angle first? if so, rear upper control arms? For the front pinion angle, if I already have front lower adjustable CA's, do I just need to add front uppers to bring the angle back or is there more to it as well? I have the EVO draglink flip on my short list to tighten up the steering. Question is which would you do first? I can't do everything at once due to lack of funds so I'm trying to hit one mod per month. Also on my short list are the EVO c-gussets and axle sleeves (around the time I get my 35's). Also eyeballing that new Full Traction CRC system they just released.

Thanks!!

Front lower arm are all you need in the front to adjust your castor, especially with 3" lift.

Rear uppers, 3" lift on a 4Door probably are not really needed either, but certainly would be a good upgrade. If you have or plan to get a rear aftermarket driveline. I would recommend them at the same time if possible.

You front pinion angle will look off to the common eye when you have corrected your castor after lifting, as long as you dont have driveline vibrations and it feels good in the steering you should be good.

After a lift, there is a trade-off between good caster (wander) and good pinion angle (vibes). Unless you cut the C's off, turn and re-weld, or swap to a PR44 that has the caster/pinion correction built in, you are stuck with the trade-off.

Be sure to keep an eye on the joint at the tcase. When it starts slinging grease, you will want to begin looking for an aftermarket replacement.

For the bumpsteer, the flip should take care of it.

From your list, I would put the gussets at the top of the list. You can install after the c's are bent, but, then you're gusseting a bent C...

Thanks. So no control arms for now. Guess I will get the EVO C-gussets and drag link flip. My installer does weld so can do both at once. Do I have to buy new ends for the drag link or do they come with?
