Default At what point does one need wheel spacers?

I am thinking of going a little larger on tires this next go around. I am running a 2 1/2" Sky Jacker lift with Dick Cepek DC-1 wheels. I am looking at the BF Goodrich AT KO's in 33.5 x 12. Will this require a spacer?

Thanks guys!

I am running the factory 17's with 35's.... DEFINATLY needed a spacer. I got away with a half inch spacer for a while, then switched to the Spydertrac's 1.5" spacer. If you have any less backspacing than the stock wheels i would thing you should be good.

4.5" of backspacing on an 18" rim with 33x12.5 tires should work fine.

How wide are the rims?

You don't need spacers with your rims. There either 8 or 10 inches wide. Your fine. Wheel spacers will make your tires stick out a ton. They will all ready be flush with your fenders or stick out a bit. Spacers is over kill.

Good luck

They are 9" wide.

Thanks guys!

so long as your wheels have 4.5" of back spacing or less, you shouldn't need any spacers. so you know, factory wheel back spacing is 6.25" which is way too much for 12.50 wide tires and that's why 1.5" spacers are needed.
