2.5-3" i'd recommend getting lower control arms and a trackbar so it can be aligned properly. i did not do this and did have to replace my ball joints at 35k miles, and it drove horrible on the freeway due to 1 degree caster.

4" + i really have no experience with but i'm guessing you will eventually need parts such as drive shafts and all 8 control arms. drive shafts not right away but eventually.

So did u get the adjustable arms and a trackbar? If so did it fix ur highway riding?

i bought the jks adjustable tracbar and rough country lower control arms. centered the axle back under the jeep and fixed the caster problem.

To be honest with you, I didn't know nothing about my JK when I bought it. I didn't know what a control arm was, or a Draglink, basically nothing. From this forum I acquired the knowledge to not only name those parts, but also how to service them. I will change my own brakes when it comes time. I changed suspension parts, greased, lubed, changed fluids, springs, tierods, trackbars and more. I learned it all from this forum. Don't be worried about getting something that would seem intimidating, we are all here to help.

Did the kit come with all that was needed for the lift or did u have to get other parts to avoid other problems

4 pages and no one has talked about the front trackbar problems. Do yourself a favor and get one of these welded on your front axle. It will save you some time in the long run. It does become a never ending money pit when you lift it. You will then want bumpers, winch, lights, and more lift. It really never ends. BTW Do it yourself. You will then have an idea of how to look for problems down the road.

i wouldn't use these trackbar brakets... if your going to do the lift just buy an adjustable trackbar. if you weld these brackets on then later when you want a trackbar you'll have to have them cut off which is more work.

TF 2.5 coil lift is very popular. it does not come with a front adjustable trackbar or any control arms. if you want it to ride better on the highway buy adjustable front lower control arms. with a front trackbar and front lower control arms you will be able to properly align your front end which will eliminate most problems.

This is for when your front trackbar bolt and the heavier tires wallows out the trackbar hole. I am pretty sure it can be use with either trackbar. Adjustable or fixed.
