What to re-gear with
So I have a JKUR with 4.10 gears. I have just bought a set of 35's with a set of beadlocks. I'm keeping my factory tires and wheels to run when i drive to work in snow season. We pull a popup when we go wheelin. What do you think for gears? We live in the Texas panhandle and mostly flat here but when we go wheelin its to the mountains in co and nm. I kinda looked at some charts and maybe a 4.56 or maybe 4.88. Would it be crazy with the factory 32's on them with the taller gears ? Any input would help. Thanks Jeremy
07-11 models get 4.88 if you plan on having an even amount of time between the 35's and stocks. Go 5.13 if you plan on running the 35's more. I switch between the stocks and 33's with 4.88's and it drives just fine with either on. I just got 35's and am now going 5.13's. If you have a 12-16 model 4.56 max.

Thanks for the info
4.88's work perfect with my 35's. I've got a 2013 wrangler unlimited automatic fully outfitted with Smittybilt bumpers and steps. We are currently in Colorado and this beast is eating up the hills with no issues.
If you're switching from 32" to 35" tires go with 4.10. If you're going to run 35" tires 4.56 will give you the best street performance, 4.88 is a low gear for 35s on a wrangler that is daily driven. See chart below, green is the range you should be aiming unless you are building a rock crawling specific rig that you're not planning on driving much on the streets.
4.88 is good for 37s. Below chart is for 3.6L engines.

According to the 3.6L chart and you wanting to switch back and forth from stock tires and then to 35s, then 4.56 seems to be within your range. If your a 3.8L then it looks like 4.88s would be better, but still drag a little with 35s.
This is assuming you have an Auto.

Here's another point of view. You have 4.10's and live in a flat area. It may just be acceptable. When you go offroad with the 4:1 transfer case, you may be just fine.you didn't say if you had an auto or stick?
