Thats another reason I like G2. If I want to change my Lug pattern its a simple process. I wish I had known about their Pro series shafts (Gold Shafts) when I got mine I would have gone with those they look even stronger with better hardware.

 

That actually was happening for me back over the summer and in the fall. Not sure if they are related, but I had squeaking while braking and after inspection my brakes still had plenty of life in them. I'm not sure if the squeak went away and then it became more prevalent down the road or if it just became worse and all the time.

I actually attached my gopro to the passenger side and filmed myself driving down the road. After looking at the video I knew right away something was bent.

Yea, sure, not everyone wants to rip out their axles just yet, so I can see a a few selling.

 

That's all good but for guys who can't weld or gear you left out the cost of labor for setting your gear pattern, machine shop shaving that gimongus diff and welding on the swap kit. That will bring you north of 3k. Of course that doesn't include the cost of purchasing 4 to 5 8 lug wheels and possibly a larger master cylinder to accommodate the bigger brakes

 

I also had squeaking while braking,you may want to look at the rear brakes,mine was the brake pads ,there was plenty of life left in them but the squeak was coming from the pads moving around on the caliper slides,new pads and hardware with applying the included grease took care of the squeak.

 

I just bought a 60/14 combo of a local guy with 4.88s and arbs, chromo shafts, both clear housings and brand new rebuilds done on both. Cost me $2500. Check Craigslist, lots of guys build a set then have something come up or change direction. If you can't weld, hire a guy and you're into a set of tons for 3k or so, for front and rear. It might take a while to find, but they're out there.

You still have to get 8 lug wheels for the silly teraflex kit.

And then you are stuck with axle shafts and brake rotors that are probably proprietary.

 

Me too. After bending two Superiors (now out of business) I got a set of G2s when they were made by Ten Factory. Four years, many trails, no issues. I keep a set of Alloys on the shelf just in case. Will probably sell them.

 

I've bent my Ten Factory flanges and I'm in Florida. Being in Colorado I would think you would bend them all the time, lol

 

Anybody runs these yet?
