Oh, and I was referring to the coils being stiff.

Did you make the change (shocks & springs) all at once, or did you change one followed by the other?

Reason I ask is I am running the RC 3.25" lift and have got a little fed up with the rough ride on the pavement. Trying to figure out if replacing the springs or the shocks will make the biggest difference.

I love my RC 2.5 lift!!! Rides better then the OEM setup!!!

I have the RC 3.5 series 2 on my 12' JKU and just replaced the shocks with 5160s. Made a big difference. Have a set of 4 inch plush ride evos on the shelf to be put on when I have time. Will chime in when they are on and give u some feedback.

I bought the setup used but the guy before me loved it. Only reason he Changed was to go to coilovers.

Well that makes sense and if I had the money I would do coilivers. But I don't do much wheeling, so at the moment im wanting to stay in a certain budget.
