What should I do?
Im a college student and I have been working all summer to get money for the school year. I have now got all the money I need plus a little more. I want to add something to my basically shock 2012 jku but don't really want to do anything along the lines of lift and tires (gas is expensive but maybe next summer). so heres the question. Ive got $300-$400 to burn, what should I get? or should I just save for the lift and tires?
Since your a college student, you should do some searching to find ways other owners of 2012's have improved fuel economy so you can stretch that college dollar a little further.
Just a thought!

Upgrade the craptacular stock sound system. You won't get much, but you should have enough to do a basic sub+amp, and maybe if you stretch your budget a bit, get some front speakers. For the money you have to burn, I'll guarantee you this is what will make your ride more enjoyable the most

My vote is save for lift. I honestly don't have an issue with the stock sound system and I think window tint is useless because my jeep has no top or doors all summer. I'm all about gettin pricey stuff out of the way first. I lifted mine and added wheels and tires and then regeared first. Now I'm just gonna drive it for a while and decide what I need to save for next.
Seatcovers, and those Rugged Ridge headlight, tailight, turn signal, and marker light protectors. Easy to install and beneficial to the health of your JK, plus the light protectors look cool IMHO!
