I own a 08 Automatic JK unlimited X . I want to put 33's or 35's on it. I am going to put a 2.5 BB on it. Do I need to do anything else and in what order?

You might consider new wheels with better backspacing (4.5" or less), or else spacers if you plan to keep stock wheels. Right now I'm running 4.5" BS wheels and a 2.5" BB with 33s and have mild rubbing on very tough terrain.

as mentioned, you'll want to get wheel spacers or new wheels with less back spacing to prevent any rubbing with the new tires. if you go 35's, you may find it necessary to install a 1" body lift as well. aside from that, a lot of what you may need will depend on the kit that you get as some come more complete than others.

Trim the flares, it's free, looks cool, and helps with rubbing

If you have an automatic and want 35's the first thing I would suggest is you get a set of 5.18 gears!

i think you mistyped and meant to say 5.13 gears but yep, i'd agree they would be something to consider. i'm running 3.73's now with my 35's and it's just tollerable.

If you are even considering 35s seriously and you can afford, do it. However, if you go with 35's plan on doing the gear upgrade.

How soon you will need to the gear upgrade depends on your expectations for performance. There is one active thread regarding 3.21 gears, where several JK owners are merrily putting around (and I use the term loosely ) on 3.21s with 32-33s and plan on doing so forever. There are others like myself that find the 3.73s with these tires barely tolerable.
