What should I do next??? HELP - Mod Suggestions
 

Hey all,


I need some suggestions....not sure what to do next...

I am currently running 33" Duratracs with a 3.5 lift and bushwacker flats.

What should I do first??

a) 35's and new gears

or


b) new bumpers and winch

or

c) other------suggestions??

You will get more use out of the gears.:thumbsup:

I would either stubb the front bumper using one of those kits or replace it with a stubby and winch. If you want the mid length I think there is a sale on here right now by one of the supporters. After market bumpers are functional and really change the look of the JK.
A 33 inch tire is pretty good for offroad, I spent years going all over the trails in California on 32s with no trouble at all. 35s look good and will get the undercarrage a little higher off the ground but if you pick your line carefully the 33s will get around just as well.

Bumpers...winch...lights...

i want 35's cause it will look better with my new flats and fill up the wheel well however I also want new bumpers as the stock ones are crap and don't do well against a 1 1/2" tree....they are like wet toilet paper.

I suppose it really depends on what you use your rig for. If it is a DD and you are just looking to aesthetically make the Jeep look better then bigger tires should probably be purchased next.

If you wheel a lot and get off road in some interesting situations, the front bumper and winch is going to be the best bet IMO.

Like mentioned you will be able to get through quite a bit on those 33's, but if you get stuck, most likely even the 35's arnt gonna get you out but a winch will.

IMO, a winch is an invaluable item to have. I know it is high on my short list(as soon as funds allow)

I vote 35s/gears, but mostly because I just love the way they look with flat flares
