Default what should I know

I have decided to trade my 08 jk unlimited in. It is an automatic with 2.5 budget boost and 33' s . I want a wrangler 2 door with a manual trans. What are the most recent options that I should get.. what models come with the bigger gears? Will I be at a huge disadvantage if I get the sport ?

Rubicon:

1.) E-disconnect sway bar
2.) Lockers
3.) 4.10's
4.) 4:1 Transfer case (For an overall crawl ratio of 75:1)
5.) Dana 44 front axle
6.) 32 Spline dana 44 rear

Sport:

1.) Solid sway bar
2.) Open diffs
3.) Dana 30 front axle
4.) 30 spline rear 44
5.) 2.71:1 low range (I think)
6.) 3:73's (I think)
The rubicon is the way to go. If you add up the cost to upgrade the components in the aftermarket form, it will cost you more.

2 cents

The money you save by getting a Sport can do a lot of mods. Rubicon or not, you go 35 or bigger tires, you'll regear it anyways eventually. Good luck to you!
