Default What size spacers?

I just purchased some AEV Pintler beadlocks. They are backspaced at 4.7" I believe. If I wanted to run 37x12.5 or 37x13.5 tires, what size of wheel spacers would I want to go with? This would be coupled with a TeraFlex 4" Long arm.

1.5 spidertracs or 1.25 teraflex. You will be fine with no spacers if you stay with a 12.5 wide tire. I only got some to have a wider stance.

You don't need spacers. Using them will generate negatve offset which changes axle loading and handling.

Well Teraflex recommends a minimum of 4.5" backspacing. I am worried that if I stay with the 4.7" and air down I will rub? Especially if I go with the 13.5 wide tires. Am I correct in that it will rub without spacers? Are the teraflex spacers hub centric also?

I'm currently running Pintlers w/Goodyear 37x12.5 MTR Kevlars. I do not need spacers. I did have to adjust my steering stops.

I had Toyo 37x13.5 MT Open Countrys on for 1500 miles. With the Clayton adjustable rear upper control arms, 1 1/2" spidertrax spacers were necessary. Also the Toyo's stuck out about 3" past the fenders causing alot of crap up the side of the Jeep.

I wish I would have asked someone before buying the Toyo's ..... Quality tire (no question), but imho just not the right tire for a JK. Too heavy, too stiff (load range e).

I'm running just about 5" with the teraflex kit and no problems. You just have to make sure to install the rear swaybar links on the inside and it is fine.

**Edit: THe factory rim with a 1.5" spacer puts the centerline of the tire at a 10mm offset. Same as a 9" rim with just under 5" backspacing.
