Default What skid

So wheeling this weekend took a couple of shots underneath which led me to this. What would be the first skid to buy under neath? This is excluding rock rails. I'm thinking evap canister as I don't wanna relocate. Thoughts?

Definitely the evap skid! Dunno if you like poison spyder but they have some nice ones at a fair price.

Other than EVAP. I would recommend all the low stuff that does not have skids from the factory.

Front and Rear Diff Covers
Front and Rear Control Arm Skids
And possibly an oil pan skid

All the other factory skids are more than sufficient. They may dent but I have not seen any damage occur through them.

I'm running an evap skid, skid row oil pan and tranny skid, & front RR skid.

Front and Rear Diff Covers - so many choices and price range, do a search to sort them out

Front and Rear Control Arm Skids - amazing how much of a beating this take

oil pan skid - I think the factory should have supplied one here but better safe than sorry if you're on the rocks

Evap - haven't decide to relocate or skid - want to relocate muffler and make the storage bigger, but don't want the added heat under the driver...

Andrew, do you have an etimated weight gain on all your recommends?

I dont make front and rear diff covers or evap stuff so I cannot say what they weigh.

EVO Front and rear skids are very light. 5 lbs for both front and rear sets. Although for these few items I would not worry about saving weight since these items I recommended are the lowest parts on the JK, strength would be my primary, weight addition a far secondary.

.
Mine (FlowMaster) is under the driver side rear floor board and no heat issues at all.
