I just programmed my Jeep to the new specs for my 35 inch tires in my 513 gears. Now I have to program the TPS or the tire pressure so that it doesn't always kick on the display screen. Right now my super chip programmer says the tire pressure is 28 psi.

 

So, the flashpaq is set to 28? What are the tires at? A fairly common answer for 35's is to set them at 30 psi, then do a chalk test and adjust as needed.

It may take more time for the light to turn off, or you may need to lower the psi on the flashpaq more to give it more of an offset between actual psi and flashpaq limit.

Well I really have two questions
1.) What tire pressure do I program my tpms? Using flashpack
2.) What tire pressure do I fill my 35x12.5 R17 too?

 

Some tire shops like to seriously over-inflate tires. (I run mine at around 28psi, every time I go to discount tire for the free balance/rotation, they pump them back up to 40psi). So lower them to 30ish, then do the chalk test mentioned several times above. A good contact patch for 'your' tires, under 'your' JK, may be a few psi above or below that number, and may not be the same as anyone who answers you here.

Program the threshold a few psi under whatever you set the tires to. (whatever your owners manual tells you to set them at. For my procal, they state 4psi under the tire psi). If the light stays on, drive around and give the computer time to adjust and update itself to the new pressures. If it still stays on, lower the threshold a bit more.

 

Been running in eat 29, recently dropped to 27 cold pressure. Zeroed out my tpms as my wheels don't have them.

 

Pressure will be different depending on what type of tire with each load range and also depends on how much your jeep weighs. If you want them to be at the proper pressure you're going to have to do a chalk test. Once you have the pressure figured out set the TPMS for slightly lower than the pressure in the tires, maybe like 5 psi.
