Default What Tire Size

So before the perpetual "search the forum" bashing begins, I have a few tire sizes picked out and want to see what everyone's thoughts are and any particular make to look at. I'm pretty sure from what I've read, all of these will fit without any mods (maybe just spacers needed):

I have a 2010 2 door X with stock 16's with the 225/75/16 tires, I do a lot of driving (75%+) on the interstate. I'd like to stick with the stock rims for now (unless I find some cheap, but sticking with 16s). I would eventually like to put a little bit of a lift in it, but nothing right now (would be more willing to do spacers). I'm in Indiana, so we do get snow, but usually a lot of ice too. So here are the tire sizes I'm looking at right now:

235/85/16 (32x9.5)
265/70/16 (31x10.5)
265/75/16 (32x10.5)
255/85/16 (33x10.5)
285/75/16 (33x11.5)

I think I'm leaning more towards the 265/75/16s as of right now.

Thanks everyone!

I have BFG KM2 285/75r16. Have a slight hum when you want it and easily hidden by the stero. Very slight vibration of the threads at low speed (turning into parking spot speed) disappears at anything over 3-4 mph. I have the stock 3.21 gears still which I assume you also have since your running pizza cutters like i was. On my six speed I did notice the added weight (loss of power) but still can easily cruise the interstate at 75 and climb moutains. My MPG went down from 22ish to 18ish. With the stock steelies you will rub on that pos plastic air dam thing. I just let nature take its coarse and a stream crossing ripped it off for me. Otherwise it just rubbed in reverse full turn. GL

Did you add spacers or anything like that to help prior to the "nature" piece taking over

265 75 16 on stock steel here ran them without spacers or lift for awhile with no issues before adding a leveling kit, it will throw the speedo off a little, you'll be running about 70 when it shows 65.

I'm interested to know what "other" sizes people would recommend.

x2 ran this for 2 years... Nice tire size. Only rub I had was at full flex the rear tires rubbed the sway bar. Very minimal though.

I used to live in a snow state and kept 2 sets of tires. During winter I always preferred a narrow tire, better bite.
During the summer I ran the wider tire..

Since you're looking in the 31-33 range, have you considered picking up a set of Rubicon take-offs? They'll give you a 32" tire on a better looking wheel, at a pretty great price if you can find the right seller.

I have the Automatic with the standard Gear Ratio. I would like to eventually do some off-roading, but more trail running, than rock climbing. I mostly drive on the highway, so don't want to get hit too hard in the MPG arena.

I really just want more of a meaty look. As much as I'd love to throw on some big fat tires, I really wouldn't be putting them to much of their intended use.
