Default what type of tank to refill tires

I'm a newbie.

What types of tanks is everyone using to refill their tires after a trail run? Are they CO2 or Nitrogen? What size do you use? I want to get one, so I can fill my tires quickly at the end of the run. While I'm on the subject- anyone reccommend a good backup battery operated air compressor?

Thanks -

I have a 15lb Powertank (Co2) and my back up is a Viiair compressor. I like them both

If its a tank co2 is what you use. You cannot get the volume out of a nitrogen tank. I have a 20# craigslist tank and a $50 'the source' regulator. Works great, fast, $19 refills after about 5 fills on 35s.
