Default What to use in place of RubiRails

I will be building frame mounted rock rails. I've been debating whether it is worth keeping the rubi rails for looks (hide the pinch seem without spending more money for looks)....or can I save weight by removing and replacing with something else? What do people use to hide the pinch seem (light weight, looks good, inexpensive/can be funded by selling rubrails)?

Never seen the big deal about pinch seem showing. I mean do people not buy the sport because you see the pinch seem?

Anyway most frame mounted sliders I have seen cover the area.

I think the Pinch seem looks "unfinished", like a house without the trim installed.
Maybe this was a dumb question as maybe I can just fit the slider in close enough to cover it, or just leave the rubisliders in place and fit in right under it..but i think I may be leaving extra weight on the jeep without purpose if I leave them on.

I tried to get our salesman to park a Willys out of camera view unlocked so I could yoink them and the grab handles, he wouldn't go for it

do they really weigh THAT much if they are even still visible after you get your rails on?

I don't understand your statement but Rubicon rails weigh almost 100lbs.

Sorry, I didn't know how much they actually weighed that it would make a difference if left on. 100 pounds is enough of a difference to care about.
