Default What is your preference in rear bumper tire carrier?

I've been looking at tire carrier bumpers for a bit cuz I'm tired of my back door rattling with a 35 on the stock carrier. I've seen the poison spyder but I'm not sure how the new latch is( if it rattles and if it actually clips in like the old one) also the metal cloak looked good but I'd rather not get past 1200 ish. If you could please post some pics of ur carriers or share ur info on a good bumper/ carrier it would be much appreciated

PS Brawler II is rattle free. However there is a random noise coming from my tailgate which was there even before the PS. I think its the latch or such and some put electrical tape just not sure.

Another vote for the hinge/carrier. The best part is you aren't tied to a bumper/carrier combo.

I did a ton of research before buying a rear bumper/tire carrier and even called manufacturers before making any decisions. I don't do a crazy amount of hard wheeling, so I'm not sure if my opinion helps, but I went with the Smittybilt XRC bumper/carrier combo. People have their negative opinions about it, but I got an awesome deal from 4 wheel drive hardware and the guys at Smittybilt really put my mind at ease. Supposedly their new powdercoating methods are second to none and I couldn't be happier with the look or the finish!

I can't seem to figure out how to upload pictures yet, but I will put some up as soon as I do!

Or-Fab and no bumper. Solid, looks great and won't break the bank. Only downside for some is that it doesn't swing with the tailgate.

I'm just starting my search as well and want to throw the JCR Dagger/tire carrier into the mix. I like the minimalist look that gives a much better approach angle. If anyone has any input throw it out there!

Shrockworks. Great bumper, but not cheap. And, they charge you up front for the purchase, and their delivery times are long (think weeks, even months, not days).
