Whats the difference between the AEV high steer kit and a drag link flip ?
I believe so. You are just mounting the Draglink on top of the steering arm making it more on a parallel plane with Track Bar. The Jeep needs at least 3" lift so the Draglink doesn't hit the frame. There is a measurement on the AEV site explaining how to measure in the 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 lift kit install instructions.
'High Steer' and 'Flip' are used interchangeably.
What you need to look at are the specific components and how they are set up. Some include a stock draglink from a RHD JK or a 'stock quality' replacement, others use a beefier aftermarket component. Some will raise the trackbar from the frame, others will drop the it from the axle. Most you have to drill the knuckle, a few recent posts are talking about a few options that do not require drilling. Will it work with the other components you already have, or plan on getting? Do some research ...
