Easier question is what is height of your garage. I have a small garage and with soft top which is 2-3 inches higher fits with room to spare.

Maybe I'm over thinking it, but why not just measure you jeep, then break out a calculator to add the height of the lift and tire change?

Current height, plus 2.5-3" for the lift, plus another (stock 32", new 35", 3" difference, take half of that number) 1.5" for the tires. So stock height +/- 4.5".

Because we all know a 2.5" lift will net more than 2.5".

And there are differences in height by JK model/setup, and differences in tires from different mfg's, and differences in tires of different rim sizes from the same mfg, and, and, and...

Seems like the same answer to me. Start with your stock measurement and your garage door height, not someone else's.

I'm a shade under 75 inches with plenty of room to get in the garage
AEV 2.5 with 35" KM2s. Netted a bit over 3 inches with the lift
