The first one allows you to fit a larger tire on the gate.
The second works with the Tera bumper http://www.quadratec.com/products/12226_200_07_T.htm
The third works with the Mopar Off road bumper http://www.quadratec.com/products/12118_10_07.htm

but why would u want to fit a larger tire on the gate doesnt it put more stress on it an d cause it to break or was that the little plastic carrier that breaks

so theres no possible way for those to be used with other bumpers

cuz for the price id rather do that that way later on i can get a diff bumper i like the ranchos price but its got no looks ya know

I ran the besttop one for about 2 years along with a 35" Toyo (heavy), and did not notice any issues with the gate. I attribute this to the fact that the weight is better dispersed across the gate, and the vertical bars keep the tire from rocking back and forth which would prematurely wear on the hinges and latch. You are still leaving the weight of the tire on the gate, but it is tight against the gate and doesn't create the leverage that other mounting plates do. It probably is still not the best way to mount a 35", but again, I didn't have any problems. Once I upgraded to 37's, it wouldn't get the tire high enough, so I switched to a different bumper and tire carrier.
