I don't think this is right. The spacing between the D-ring allows it to rattle around from left to right. This is a LOD bumper with a 7/8 hold. This is the 2nd set of D-rings I've bought and both have been the same. Is this how they are supposed to fit? If not, where can I buy a set that will fit?

They're all like this. Never understood why. There's one bumper manufacturer that makes a wider tab. Otherwise, do what most others do... Improvise. I wrapped the pin of the d-ring in electric tape to fit snugly and padded each side with black plastic wire loom.

Just go down to your local hardware store like Lowes and pick up a set of "ballcock shank washers" ... they will be in the plumbing department. I also have the LoD rear bumper and the washers work great with d-rings.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot toilet parts section. Buy two ballcock shank washers for each d-ring. Put one on each side of the bumper tab. No more rattle.

Sorry didn't notice that I was a couple minutes late with the same suggestion!

Why are you driving around with your D rings on? Put them in your recovery bag and put them on when you need them. They are asking to be stolen if you leave them on.

I've always wondered if people have lost them to vibration and the pin coming out. I never see a moused shackle on a Jeep.

Thanks guys. The Jeep is just for offroading now so no worries about them getting stolen. I'll probably just cut some delrin spacers or take them off until I need them.
