I don't want to state the obvious, but a cap is missing on your front driver side u-joint. Because of your tires and lift i would say would dealership would tell you that it's not covered because of your tires, But! it is worth a shot. Depends on what kind of dealership you have, and warranty.
If they do not cover it, i would recommend upgrading both front u-joints to spicer brand or something. Upgrade when warranty doesn't apply, and even if the warranty applies still try to upgrade.
Be careful driving like that though, i wouldn' take the jeep anywhere unless it's to get that fixed. You don't want it locking up on you or breaking.
It happens.

Oh yeah, don't drive it like that. Not even a little. that is for sure a ticking time bomb......and theres not much time on that clock. As far as warranty. IDK, as stated before up to your stealership. good luck.

This happens because the stock U-joints don't use full-circle C-clips. In the distant past some folks tack-welded the stock caps on to hold them in place. More recently, Dynatrac posted that the real problem is the weak driveshaft itself which allows flexing of the ears. If the driveshaft is good, then replace the U-joint with something better in quality than stock. And tack-weld the other side. That should hold you until/if you decide to upgrade the axles themselves.
i blew the transfer case and both front axles in one mud hole and drop it off at signal hill jeep. told them not to touch a thing unless the would cover it by warranty so they fix it no question ask. not always the case though. but worth a try. watch where you take it
