Default Wheel Adapters & Wheel Options ...

Hey all,

so i am trying to narrow down to a few wheels that I would be interested in getting.

My fave so far is the pro comp 7289/8089..... with just one hitch... they dont come in the right bolt pattern in the 20" wheel... only in the 18" wheel. I was thinking of doing 20" wheels with a 37" tire....

here is the wheel i am interested in:

offroadunlimited.com/orustore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=921&idproduct=9011

^^^^ What im wondering is it even physically possible to get an adapter to mount a "6 on 5.5" bolt patter to our JK's which are 5 on 5. I presume its impossible because it requires an extra bolt.... but thought I would ask to make sure anyways?

If not I guess I could look at another wheel or settle for the 18's.

Also I just realized after making this post that a 5x135mm version or 5x5.5 version is also available... anyway to make those work?
Input appreciated.

Thanks all!!!

5x5 to 5x5.5 adapters are available and used quite often. (front hub conversion kits change to this pattern). I have not seen any that would let you go to a 6 bolt pattern.
