Default Wheel back spacing question

I'm undecided on one of two wheels, (17x9) one has 5" backspacing the other has 4 1/2" backspacing. I'm going to run BF Goodrich KM2's 12.50's and a Rock Krawler x factor mid arm 3.5 lift. My question is will either wheel work, rubbing issues, etc? Also does anyone have any experience with this lift, good, bad, ?

5" may work but, it will be cutting it way close. i would recommend 4.5" as it will ensure that you rear tire side walls will clear the sway bar link ends.

You may get away with more than 4.5 inch backspacing if you use wheel spacers-I'd recommend wheels with less than 4.5 if you don't want to use wheel spacers.

factory wheels have 6.25" of back spacing and can clear 12.50 wide tires if you run 1.5" wheel spacers. that would effectively reduce your back spacing to 4.75". needless to say, you can safely run a 12.50 wide tire on a wheel with 4.5" of back spacing and without the additional need for wheel spacers.

4.5 inches of BS is pretty much the standard setup for JK's.
