I use the Dyna beads and they work great. No wheel weights to come off and no problems getting large tires balanced. The lead shot suggestion just sounds like a bad idea to me. Do I really want a bunch of lead rolling around in my tires and potentially creating dust on tires that I will be airing down with some frequency? Nah, not for me.

The dyna beads seem to be what I'm probably gonna go with....they are big enough to not cause problems with airing down...they are ceramic...and they actually have an "off road" application

i am not a fan of equal... can clog the valve stem if you air down alot and depending on where you live... it can freeze in clump creating an unbalanced tire.

i have heard air soft pellets work, and have friends that swear by the TOP FLIGHT balance (golf balls), but i for one dont want to try the golf balls.

i am looking into the Dyna bead, cause nothing else has worked...

The discs that go behind the wheel are called Centramatics wheel balancers.

They are not available for the JK and apparently will never be.

This is a reply I got from when I inquired about their availability for the JK:

"THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE BESIDES THE 5 BOLT CIRCLE
THEY ALSO CHANGE THE LOCATION OF THE BRAKE CALIPERS
THE BRAKE CALIPERS ARE THE MAIN ISSUE NOW
AS TOLD BY OUR MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT
I DO NOT KNOW AS OF THIS DATE IF WE ARE GOING TO EVEN HAVE ONE
IF SO , MAYBE FALL TIME

The dynabeads sound like a great option for larger off road tires. I'll definately consider getting these when I upgrade my tires to 35's this spring...

Has anyone who runs these have had any problems with them?
