Default Wheel lug patterns, interchangable?

I'm shopping for used wheels and tires. I am wondering about lug patterns and if other vehicle's lug patterns will work on the JK. I always hear 5 on 5 for the JK, but will other 5 lug patterns (i.e. Ford) work? Probably a silly question, but I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I think ford is 5 on 5.5 and TJ's are 5 on 4.5 and the JK is 5 on 5.0

The JK has the same pattern as older (late 70's, early 80's) Chevy 2wd trucks. 5 on 5 as wild bill stated.

Why would you want to get used wheels? You can buy the Pro Comp 1089's for just over $100.00 (106-130) a wheel and they come in aluminum or black. There are some other great wheels for this price if you look hard enough.
Just a thought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you'r interested

Well, my guess would be that he's not looking for used wheels, but instead trying to see what else might fit to broaden the somewhat narrow selection of wheels for the JK. I could be wrong .....though I've never been yet.
