Default Wheel Question

Dumb newb question. Will XD Revolvers fit on a JK?

I thought the lug pattern (for the JK) was 5x5 but I've seen others with wheels that have the same lug pattern (KMC website said these were 5.6?) such as the Hoss and Monster on their Jeeps.

Will the backspacing work for larger wheels in the future? I plan on getting 17s so I can use my stock rubber (Goodyear Wranglers) for a while before an upgrade this summer.

I'll probably do a 2-2.5 inch lift and 33s.

Thanks,

Tyler

the lug pattern for the JK is 5x5, i have no idea what 5.6 means. +

Edit: Maybe they mean "5,6 & 8 lug" ? *L* i am betting someone typoed a period when they shoulda typed a comma.

I think he missread the description....it says they are available in 5.6 and 8 lug patterns...So I'm thinking he read it wrong.

Ah, that's a comma. I'm such an idiot.

none of those....you will have to call and see what rim sizes they have with a 5x5 bolt patter and depending on what lift or tire size you are running, determine what backspacing you need. The only place I know that has them is 4wheelparts....and when I was looking at them they were only available in 18 and 20 inch sizes which were too big for my likes. Another thing I didn't like is they are drilled with a 5x4.5 and a 5x5 bolt pattern....I didn't like the loose bolt pattern.

What do you mean by loose bolt pattern? Are you saying that both patts are drilled on the same wheel? As in 5 extra holes on each wheel?

I have a set of XD Diesels 5x5.5 I went with the 5x5.5 because there was such a limited selection of the JK bolt pattern (5x5). The back spacing on my wheels are 5" so I needed spacers. I just bought adapters to go from the 5x5 to 5x5.5 which also reduced my backspacing to 3.5. That allowed my 37s to fit without rubbing...
